Digital Wake worked with NCI to develop a 3D-model representation of the Air Control Squadron Operations Training Complex and furniture based off the architects original AutoCad file. We then created the computers, monitors, keyboards, consoles, headsets, and network adapters based off photos and measurements provided for all the equipment. Re-creation of the network was also based off photos and measurements provided by NCI.
Digital Wake then created a flash-based application using the modeled Air Control Squadron Operations Training Complex. The application incorporated interactivity allowing the user to interact and zoom into different regions of the model. Once the user zoomed in, they were able to access more views of the internal room and network configuration. The 3D-environment also included an interactive cable overlay. This functionality allowed the user to select a cable and view the required measurements for a specific cable run.
